Children who are three are maturing from parallel play to interactive play with their classmates. At this age their dramatic play becomes much more sophisticated.  There are so many social skills that are developed at this age: learning to share; taking turns; understanding how to react appropriately when a situation doesn’t go their way; and, of course, playing cooperatively.

RPCNS’s curriculum for the Threes follows the calendar with seasonally appropriate activities in social studies and science.  Incorporated throughout the year, the children are exposed to numbers and counting, shapes and colors, and the alphabet, which is introduced and highlighted through the Handwriting Without Tears program.

Parents can expect to co-op in the classroom from two to four times a month.
