Welcome to RPCNS!

RPCNS is a non-profit, cooperative nursery school founded in 1963 in Rockville, MD. RPCNS offers high quality education within a supportive community of parents and professionally qualified teachers. We believe that children excel by learning through play in a safe, nurturing community.  We offer full and half day options, and a variety of levels of parental involvement.

As a cooperative nursery school, we believe in having families involved in their child’s first school experience.  This cooperative model allows parents to carry through learning from school to home.  The combination of loving parents and supportive teachers provides our children with a positive learning environment.

Open Spring 2021

Due to the unprecedented circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic, RPCNS has made the decision to not offer online learning or in person classes for the Fall/Winter semester of the 2020-21 school year. Although the school will be in hiatus, our staff and Board will be busy planning a safe, in-person Spring semester.

We encourage RPCNS families to stay connected virtually with each other.  RPCNS Music Teacher, Ms. Gina will be offering her very popular Music Time for Tots this fall and winter, which is a great way to stay connected.  Her prop package delivered to each family was a hit with her summer classes.  See more information here.

We look forward to seeing all of our new and returning friends in the Spring!  To enroll in the Spring Semester at RPCNS, contact the Admissions Coordinator at info@rpcns.org.

RPCNS admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and other school-administered programs.
