Summer Camp Counselors: This position is for our Summer Camp June 12th -23rd from 9am – 1pm, for either one or both weeks. Qualified applicants should be currently approved in-classroom co-opers or staff with RPCNS. Counselors will supervise campers, run activities, help with toileting, etc. Supervised by Summer Camp Coordinator. $15 per hour and camp discount.
Threes Teacher (3 days): This is a part-time, 10 month position for 3 mornings a week from 9:15 to 1:30 p.m., plus a monthly staff meeting. A qualified applicant must have a B.A. or B.S. in Early Childhood Education or an undergraduate degree plus the 90 Hour Early Childhood Education certification, and meet Office of Child Care requirements by the start of employment. Experience in a cooperative nursery school is preferred. Benefits include competitive salary, sick and personal leave, continuing education paid, plus reduced preschool class tuition.
Admissions Coordinator: This is a part-time salaried position with flexible hours, with some summer hours required. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment of new students and all enrollment aspects, including the on-boarding of co-oping adults. The Admissions Coordinator provides a monthly report to the Board on the status of the membership, maintains the school website and maintains the Jovial Softeware system. This position also oversees the parents in the following jobs: Membership Assistant, Archives, and Social Media.
